Green Ridinghood, also known as Lil, is a very mysterious little girl, nobody knows what she do, what she's like, and what she wants for breakfast. even me, her very creator know few about her, you can say that I and Lil are just on the stage of getting-to-know-eachother.

It is the shorthand term for the Gokiburi-gumi, a fictional clan of yakuza made up of thugs, criminals and exiles from all walks of life. It is comprised of various artists original characters, set in the universe of one of DA's more popular original-character dueling leagues, the SDL. More info on SDL [here]

WITH THE GR CONTEST
Well, basically, all you need to do is to draw, paint, animate, etc. any character in Green Ridinghood© (Lil, Mei, Mog) with your own character, that's right, your OWN CHARACTER, in your OWN STYLE. You can do anything but PLEASE, NO EXTREME NUDITY!! that will be strictly prohibited. You can draw Lil having a date with your OC (Original Character) or having a fight with her. i just said anything right? okay okay that ends it.

G-G Group Illustration II
You must draw a group illustration of any of the G-G, provided it's at least more than two members. You may choose any number of clan members to include in the picture, from a minimum of two people, to all the forty current members. The subject matter is vast and entirely up to you.

You can combine the two contest categories. Meaning, you are allowed to draw characters from Green Ridinghood and G-G members together, +your character. this will make you qualified in both category.

There will be 2 maximum grand prize winner. (One in GR contest One in GG contest.). If you mixed the categories and won, you'll receive all the prizes.

ANYONE can enter, whether you be in the Gokiburi-gumi or not, in SDL or not.

The setting MUST be in feudal Japan.(for the G-G illustration 2)

The illustration must include one character from GR and your own character; The illustration must include at least two members of the G-G.

Collaborations are allowed, but if you win, the winnings must be split. (If you and a partner win with a picture of ten OCs in it, you will not both be receiving ten commissions from the respective artist. You would have to decide who receives what, like, your friend gets five artists commissions and you get the other five.)

There is no limit towards other characters that can be in the image, even if they aren't in the clan.

Nothing too explicit, please. Where nudity and wanton gory violence are a mainstay in the G-G, there are still wee ones who view this site, you know.

Regarding the prizes, the size and quality of the commission is dependent on the artist and their personal schedule. There is no set example. (Meaning, a given artist may offer to give you a chibi, another artist could paint you the Mona Lisa.)

For the G-G contest, the number of commissions you'll win will be up to how many G-G members can do you a commission. It will not depnd on how many G-G members you include in your artwork. (meaning if all of them are too busy, you won't get a prize, which is IMPOSSIBLE )

The commissions you win will be entirely up to you. It does not have to be G-G or SDL related. (You could ask for each artist to draw you one of your characters, or assign each artist a different character, or whatever.except for prizes that are indicated)



DEADLINE IS MOVED FROM AUGUST 20th to AUGUST 30th. Send a note to me with a link/thumb of the image in it to be registered.
